Nicolo Danna
Director of the Office of Military Legal Assistance
Special Assistant Attorney General Nicolo Danna is a current captain in the
U.S. Army JAG Corps, and is a combat veteran of Afghanistan. Most recently,
Danna provided military legal assistance to soldiers in Afghanistan, and was
awarded the Bronze Star for his service.
Prior to joining the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Danna worked as a
prosecutor for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and served in both the
general criminal division and safe neighborhood and gang units. Previously, he
defended the Los Angeles Police Department and its officers in civil actions in
both state and federal court. Danna lives in Reno with his wife. He graduated
from Whittier Law School.
