    Nevada Legal Services

    Nevada Legal Services is a non-profit organization providing free legal assistance to low-income Nevadans. We are a statewide organization serving all seventeen counties through offices located in Las Vegas, Reno, Elko, Yerington, and an outreach office in Carson City.

    Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevada

      Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans (VARN) provides pro bono (free) civil legal services for eligible low-income* individuals and families.

      Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada

        Established in 1958, Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is a private, non-profit organization that ensures equal access to justice through free legal advice and representation for those who cannot afford to hire an attorney.

        Southern Nevada Senior Law Program

          Provides free quality legal assistance and advocacy services to residents of Clark County age 60 and older.

          Washoe Legal Services

            Offers legal services to residents of Reno and Washoe County, including divorce, debt and bankruptcy.

                          American Bar Association Military Pro Bono Project

                            The ABA Military Pro Bono Project accepts case referrals from military attorneys on behalf of junior-enlisted, active-duty military personnel and their families with civil legal problems, and it places these cases with pro bono attorneys where the legal assistance is needed. The Project is also the platform for Operation Stand-By, through which military attorneys may seek attorney-to-attorney guidance.

                            Washoe County Veterans Court

                              Veterans Court is a multi-jurisdictional court that accepts clients with misdemeanor, gross misdemeanor, and felony charges. To be eligible the defendant needs to have been, or currently be, in the military. A substance abuse or mental health diagnosis and a relation between the criminal behavior and military experience are also necessary.

                                The Veterans Treatment Court takes a team approach to rehabilitate veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or traumatic brain injury (TBI) who have been charged with a misdemeanor crime.
